Small Business Can Look Pretty Big In the midst of people talking about the greatest recession in United States history, I am more excited and optimistic about the economy than ever. The Internet has become the great equalizer for the common man and the small business. My wife knows a woman that sells designer felt food to feed her family. Don't believe me, check out www.lillybeanmarket.com . I think that it is very exciting that a stay-at-home Mom can be the main provider through her craft. With the power of the web, small businesses can look larger than they are. Now with content management systems such as Joomla and The Expression Engine, we can all have websites with incredible functionality and power. Web developers are designing the same website for $2,000.00 that used to cost $20,000. Current technologies and content management systems allow small businesses to provide the same services that large business do, with the same level of form and function. The lillybean website looks outstanding. Congrats lillybeanmarket. |
