Organizations that Make the World a Better Place

At JD WEB DESIGN STUDIO, we support organizations that are spreading the compassion of Jesus throughout the world. We are not interested in a statement of faith that does not lead to real action. We are interested in the whole message. We are inspired by organizations show Christ love in real tangible ways. These are organizations that we have supported in the past or are planning to support in the future.

• Stop The Traffik

  This organization works with the United Nations to stop the trafficing of people throughout the world.

• Women at Risk

  Women at Risk is a Grand Rapids, Michigan based organization that helps get women out of the sex trade. They give them jobs making fair trade goods that are sold in the United States. Log on to purchase some high quality goods that improve the lives of these women

• Trade As One

  At the Trade as One website you can purchase fair trade goods that are created by people in developing counties. I love the intro to their website: There are two worlds. One where people are poor. The other where people have money to buy things. Color us innocent, but we think there should be one world. So we set up this site so people in America can buy things from people in the developing world. We get beautiful and useful things. They earn a living. That sounds like a fair trade to us.

• World Relief

  The list of ministries that World Relief is involve in is certainly huge: Disaster Response, Child Development, Agriculurial Development, and Refugee Care just to name a few items.

• Kiva

  The website for Kiva is one of my inspirations that made me want to start JD WEB DESIGN STUDIO. The fact that someone from the first world can loan money to an individual in a third world directly through is a website. Most inspiring are the stories of the individual people that you are loaning money to.
